Airport Departure May 2014

Final Day: Our last stop was the airport. Here, the students had to say good bye to their Japanese families. It was a tough time, and there were a lot of tears. We had a very touching goodbye ceremony. Lots of gifts were exchanged as well as hugs. The families all told me as we left the airport "It was so fun!!", "It was too short," and "I'm so sad to see them go."

Thank you Laurie Gallant and all the students. You did an amazing job as ambassadors for the USA but also Texas. We hope you had an amazing time and that you won't forget us.
