Final Day: As our last excursion, we went to the habu center. We watched a show about the different kinds of snakes in Amami, especially the habu, a poisonous pit viper found in the Ryukyu islands. We had a great time learning about all the snakes from a man who has done this show for about 45 years. Wow!!
