Welcome to our 2014 Japan Exchange Blog!
Each year our district sends students to Japan as part of our "Sister School" and "Sister City" arrangements with Ikueikan Jr. High and Amami City Public Schools. NISD has participated in exchanges with Amami Exchange since 1995.
This year I will be taking 5 boys and 3 girls to Japan on May 20th from McMichael Middle School in Nacogdoches, Texas to reciprocate host families, as they sent 14 students to visit us in October 2013. We will return home on June 4th.
